Unidentified person steals wallet from student’s room

POLICE REPORTS:

An unidentified person burglarized Brian Levine’s room between 9:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday in Shaw Residence Hall, according to a Syracuse Police Department report.

The person stole Levine’s wallet, containing cash, various personal papers and an ID, when he went to the bathroom to shower, the report added.

The person did not need to break in because Levine left the door unlocked, the report stated.

”Lock your doors,” said Levine, a junior entrepreneurship and information, management, and technology major.

An unidentified person broke into a man’s car sometime Oct. 27 on the 300 block of Euclid Avenue, according to a police report.

The person broke the side window and stole a camera, leather jacket, a sweatshirt and two pairs of shoes, the report added.

An unidentified person broke into a Syracuse University graduate student’s 2002 Chevy Cavalier between 8 p.m. Nov. 8 and noon Nov. 9 on the 700 block of Comstock Avenue, according to a police report.

The person broke the side window of the car and stole the car stereo, a jacket, 15 CDs and a CD case, the report added.

An unidentified person broke into an SU student’s car between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Oct. 30 on the 700 block of Comstock Avenue, according to a police report.

The person broke the right rear window and stole the stereo, the report added.
