Police arrest visitor for graffiti in Day Hall

Syracuse Police arrested a visiting student in Day Hall at about 5 a.m. Sunday for creating graffiti at various locations around the building, according to a Public Safety report.
The suspect was visiting a State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry student, the report stated.
The SUNY ESF student was referred to the Office of Judicial Affairs for further investigation, according to the report.
n Public Safety officers escorted three teenage males off South Campus at about 7 p.m. Sunday, according to a Public Safety report.
The suspects were loitering outside of the Goldstein Student Center asking students for their identification cards so they could buy food, the report stated.
The suspects were issued trespass notices and their parents were called, according to the report.
n Syracuse Police issued citations to three Syracuse University students for violating the city’s noise ordinance, according to a Public Safety report.
Syracuse police neighborhood safety patrol notified Public Safety of the incident and the case was referred to the Office of Judicial Affairs.
