A worker injured at the Syracuse University steam plant Thursday Oct. 5 passed away Sunday, according to a story in The Post Standard.
The worker, Arthur Besanson, 46, was hurt when a cable snapped in an underground vault and hit him in the head, the story stated.
Besanson was a 10-year employee of Route 84 Enterprises of Central Square, according to the story. He was doing routine maintenance with a co-worker when he was injured at the Almond Street plant.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years and his two sons, the story stated.
