Ciara and Lupe Fiasco will perform at the Carrier Dome on April 22, according to Ciara’s Web site on myspace.com.

University Union could not confirm whether the pop and hip-hop artists are in the process of negotiating contracts for the event, said UU President Clarence Cross III and UU Concerts co-director Ryan Raichilson.

Raichilson confirmed Block Party will be April 22 at 8 p.m. at the Carrier Dome – the same date, time and location listed on Ciara’s Web site. UU will be able to release the official news for the event and ticket information when contracts are signed ‘in the next couple of days,’ Raichilson said.
