All of Feature: You make my dreams come true.
Kelly: Kells you have really made my experience at the DO. My first semester was pretty crazy and your organization, music, crazy stories, random noises and heart attacks really kept me coming to work. I cant even imagine the DO without you. I mean I wouldn’t have even discovered Lady Gaga or snuggies or a whole slew of she said jokes that are inappropriate to print in the paper. Thanks! PS. Ill see your a** in Europe.
Rebekah Jones: Thanks for hiring me. You gave me a crazy start but it was a good intro and you trained me well. I hope Jackson is doing well.
Brittney: Brit Brit I have to admit I called you the blonde copy editor girl for my whole first semester. But I’m really happy you came down to feature so I could learn your real name. You’re the most amazing copy editor I’ve met thus far (big complement I know, but really you are).
Flash: Flash man, good luck next semester. I’m going to be checking the Web to read features articles. You were destined for greatness from the start so I know you’ll be fine. Call me if you need me to whip any unruly writers into shape.
Stephanie: We had some great times being annoyed with our fellow interns last summer. Next time I say we have lunch without the baggage. But you’re a great editor and I know you’re gonna be some crazy successful person in the near future. Just remember me when you get there OK.
Abram: Now that I know you’ve been here just as long as me I wonder how it’s possible that we only got to know each other in the past two months. How did that happen? Anyway I suppose I’m happy to know you, just don’t act up ok (or I WILL drop you). See you in Europe!
Meredith: I didn’t get to know you very well but it should please you to know that every time you came down the stairs I started to worry what we were doing wrong.
Jared: We have only talked like once but you scare me and that’s rare. It’s obvious you really know your stuff, whether it be sports or Disney movies. I just hope I don’t get on your bad side in paper review.
Luke: I never know how to respond to your jokes, Luke. I think I’m just not as cool as you. But your photo sense is great. Thanks for the little photo tips and random pet names. Oh and grandma is on the task…more later.
Melissa: You were only here for a little bit but your great so it didn’t matter. We have yet to hang out though; lets fix that.
Amanda: So when I started coming home at 3 a.m. last semester a normal roommate would think I found a boyfriend or was going crazy doing my homework, but you took my absence with such ease and understanding (typical). Sorry if you lost a roommate to The DO, but it looks like everything worked out fine. Love ya.
Paul: Thanks for always telling me that I have to go to work and reminding me of all the reasons why I love this place when I try to sleep past 7 p.m. I couldn’t have asked for a better guy to come home from work to.
Readers: Thanks for reading my stories thus far. I have been learning as I go but your comments online, in classes and randomly when I have been eaves dropping have really taught me a lot.
