SU students robbed off-campus Thursday
Two Syracuse University students were robbed early Thursday morning on the 1000 bl0ck of Lancaster Avenue, according to a Department of Public Safety email sent to students Thursday.
At 2:24 a.m., two unknown males displayed a knife to the victims and demanded money from them, according to the email. The suspects then fled on foot and headed northbound on Lancaster Avenue, according to the email. The victims were not injured, according to the email.
The victims reported the incident to the Syracuse Police Department, according to the email. SPD and DPS could not be reached for comment.DPS asks that anyone with information on the incident contact SPD or DPS.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The second suspect is described as a black male, medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
