Comfort and joy: Don’t try to escape winter style, cozy up in chilly weather classics
There are some things about the winter season that will always stay the same: family gatherings for the holidays, cozying up with a warm drink and that constant anticipation of the first snowfall.
Just as evergreen as the winter weather is winter fashion. Each year, designers find new ways to revamp and rethink fashionable favorites. But the truth is cold weather staples are here to stay.
The unseasonably warm weather has allowed students to be unburdened by concealing puffy jackets, and fashion lovers can wear trends that have been popping up since the fall. Students can show off their best winter classics: thick knits, Fair Isle patterns, stripes and plaid paired with favorites like polka dots, sheer blouses and fur trim.
Whether you’re staying cozy indoors or exploring the chilly outdoors, these styles are nice to cuddle up in and will always have an effect.
