Chance The Rapper show sets record as fastest selling Bandersnatch concert
Tickets to see Chance The Rapper sold out less then an hour after going on sale, making it the fastest selling Bandersnatch show of all time.
In just 51 minutes, all tickets to the first Bandersnatch show of the semester sold out, University Union Public Relations Director Mitchell Mason said in an email. He added that it broke the record previously set by Big Sean’s Bandersnatch concert, which sold out in 22 hours.
The concert will be held on Nov. 6 in the Schine Undergound. Tickets cost $5 when they were first made available on Friday.
Chance The Rapper will be performing at Syracuse University as part of his coast-to-coast Social Experiment tour. DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn will open for Chance The Rapper as he headlines the now sold-out show in Schine Underground.
The Chicago native rapper is known for his most recent mixtape, titled Acid Rap, which he released online for free and has since had more than 240,000 downloads. Since releasing the mixtape, Chance The Rapper has performed with popular rappers such as Eminem, Macklemore and Lil Wayne.
