SU architecture student dies Thursday
A sophomore in the School of Architecture died in Syracuse on Thursday following a brief illness.
Jessica Hauffe came to Syracuse University from San Jose, Calif., and was a resident of Flint Hall this semester.
Rebecca Kantrowitz, interim vice president and dean of student affairs, said in an email sent to the SU community that Chancellor Kent Syverud, student affairs leaders and other university staff are working to support Hauffe’s family, friends and colleagues, adding “our hearts go out to them, and to all the students, faculty and staff who knew her.”
