2-star defensive end Levine verbally commits to Syracuse
Two-star defensive end Dana Levine verbally committed to Syracuse on Thursday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
Levine is a junior at Hallandale (Fla.) High School. He is listed as 6 feet, 4 inches and 230 pounds on Scout.com, and is not ranked or rated by the site.
Levine is the first defensive lineman to commit to SU for 2015, and the third defensive player overall. He joins cornerback commits Gerald Robinson (three stars) and Davante Davis on the defensive side of the ball.
SU offensive coordinator George McDonald continues to attract recruits from Florida, as Levine marks the fifth commit from the Class of 2015 to come from the state.
He is the eighth overall verbal pledge in the class, joining running backs Tyrone Perkins (three stars) and Jordan Fredericks (three stars), and offensive linemen Cody Conway (three stars), Sam Clausman and Colin Byrne.
