Assembly attends ‘Beat the Blame Game’ event Monday night
Election Day
New York Public Interest Research Group representative Brittania Smead reminded assembly members that Tuesday is Election Day. Smead said students should vote based on issues they are passionate about, from climate change to student loans. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
“Beat the Blame Game”
Assembly member Brittany Moore thanked assembly members for attending the “Beat the Blame Game” assembly on sexual consent in Schine Underground on Monday night. Moore said there will be other SA-run consent campaigns on campus in the future.
SA retreat
A retreat for SA members will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Goldstein Auditorium to incorporate new members into the organization, said assembly representative Paulina Colon.
Geek of the week
SA will be promoting a new campaign called Geek of the Week to encourage assembly members to improve their grades and put more effort into schoolwork.
