SU College of Law professor dies Thursday
A professor in the Syracuse University College of Law died on Thursday.
Jeremy Blumenthal, who joined the College of Law as an assistant professor in August 2005, died last Thursday, according to an SU News release. Blumenthal taught in areas of property law and law and the social sciences while at SU.
Blumenthal was a co-editor of the “Modern Scientific Evidence” treatise, according to the release. He received his doctorate from Harvard University. Before becoming a professor at SU, Blumenthal was a Faculty Fellow at Seton Hall University School of Law and clerked for Judge Maryanne Trump Barry of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
