Pulse Performing Arts Program to shift focus to ticket discounts

Pulse Performing Arts Program will be changing next semester as the performing arts program is shifting its focus to provide discount tickets to local performances rather than hosting on campus events, according to an Syracuse University News release.

The Pulse website says the organization, coordinated by the Office of Student Activities, provides SU students with opportunities to attend and participate in programs, performances, exhibitions and events in the visual and performing arts. No representative was available for comment at this time.

Tickets to local performances will be available to members of the SU community at the Schine Box Office starting in the fall 2015 semester. Pulse listservs will be made inactive beginning July 1. Information on shows will be available on cnyarts.org as a replacement, according to the release.

The website said the organization “is a model program, recognized for quality, diversity, innovation and collaboration, while it celebrates and expands the cultural climate of Syracuse University.”
