The Syracuse Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old man in connection with a burglary on South Campus.

The burglary occurred Saturday on 140 Lambreth Lane. Officers were dispatched to the location at about 10:51 p.m, according to SPD. An investigation by the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division led to the arrest of Kyree Truax, 17, on Wednesday, according to SPD. He is not a student at SU.

Truax was charged with burglary in the 2nd degree. This is the first arrest in a string of burglaries near campus over the weekend.

An investigation into the other burglaries is continuing, according to SPD.
