Starting wide receiver Brisly Estime will miss the first half of Syracuse’s game against Boston College next weekend, an SU Athletics rep confirmed Saturday night.
Estime was ejected in the fourth quarter of the Orange’s 42-29 loss to North Carolina State for “fighting,” which resulted in a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Wide receiver Steve Ishmael, who was ejected Saturday for two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, won’t miss any time.
SU (3-8, 1-6) was officially eliminated from bowl contention with its loss to the Wolfpack. The Orange’s season concludes next Saturday against the Eagles at 12:30 at the Carrier Dome.
