Syracuse football recruiting: Dino Babers lands 1st commit, 2016 OL Airon Servais
Class of 2016 offensive lineman Airon Servais has verbally committed to Syracuse, he tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. His commitment is the Orange’s first under head coach Dino Babers and is SU’s 16th member of its 2016 class.
Syracuse’s offer was his first Power Five offer, per multiple recruiting services. The 6-foot-6, 270 pound Ashwaubenon (Wisconsin) High School product is listed as having two stars on Scout.com.

Servais also had offers from 11 other schools according to Scout.com, including Bowling Green, where Babers was the head coach until Saturday, as well as Eastern Illinois and Harvard.
Servais is the fourth offensive lineman in Syracuse’s 2016 class, joining Cam DeGeorge, Noel Brouse and Sam Heckel. The Orange’s previous coaching staff told Heckel that only one spot remained in the class before Heckel committed.
Servais is SU’s first commitment since Oct. 5.
