Former Syracuse wide receivers coach Bobby Acosta gets job at Cornell

Bobby Acosta, who coached the wide receivers at Syracuse last season, will be the new wide receivers and tight ends coach at Cornell, a source confirmed to The Daily Orange Saturday morning.
The news was first reported by Mike McAllister of Scout.com.
Acosta also served as Syracuse’s recruiting coordinator and was known for bringing in the bulk of SU’s commits from New Jersey. Acosta was promoted to the Orange’s wide receivers coach in 2015 after former SU offensive coordinator George McDonald left for North Carolina State. Prior to that, Acosta coached the Syracuse tight ends.
He is the eighth former Syracuse position coach/coordinator to land a job after Dino Babers cleaned house at SU, with Tim Lester, Chuck Bullough, Fred Reed, DeAndre Smith, Clark Lea, Jake Moreland and Tim Daoust all securing new spots already.
