Amir Ealey played just one for the Orange before being dismissed from the team in February 2016, after having already been suspended indefinitely.

Former Syracuse defensive end Amir Ealey’s court appearance, scheduled for Friday, has been adjourned until April 27.

Ealey, who played in seven games for SU as a freshman in 2015, was arrested and charged in March 2016 with two counts of rape in the third degree for incidents that allegedly occurred in Ernie Davis residence hall. He had been dismissed from the football team shortly prior. In September, the charges were upgraded to one count of first-degree rape and two counts of third-degree rape.

In late February he confirmed details of the alleged incident, according to Syraucse.com.
