Eric Dungey undergoes right-foot surgery

Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey underwent surgery on his right foot, per his Instagram story. The surgery happened on Wednesday and was successful, Dungey’s mother confirmed to Syracuse.com.
Dungey missed the final three games of the 2017 season after injuring his foot against Florida State on Nov. 4. He tried to work his way to back to play, but didn’t appear in the final three games as Zack Mahoney and Rex Culpepper started in his place.
The 2017 season was the second-straight that Dungey missed the final three games of the year. He has yet to play a full season for Syracuse.
The quarterback from Lake Oswego, Oregon, finished the season having played in nine games and rushed for 595 yards and nine touchdowns. Dungey threw for 2495 yards and completed 60 percent of his passes.
