In Syracuse’s (12-3, 1-0 Atlantic Coast) first conference road game, it fell to Wake Forest (8-6, 1-1 ACC), 73-67. Tyus Battle got into foul trouble midway through the second half, and despite Frank Howard’s hot-shooting night, SU ultimately fell. For the first time all season, Syracuse failed to edge its opponent in rebounds.
