Beverage options for Mayfest, Syracuse University’s annual outdoor concert, have expanded this year. Beverage bracelets will be available to students of legal age during designated presale times before the festivities, according to an SU news release.
This year’s drink options include beer, gluten-free beer, wine slushies and hard cider, per the release. Students who are 21 or older must present a valid SU or SUNY-ESF ID and a government ID to purchase a bracelet.
The $3 beverage bracelets include three tabs that can be exchanged for three alcoholic beverages in the designated area of Walnut Park, according to the release. Only one bracelet is allowed per student.
The bracelets can only be purchased in the Schine Student Center Goldstein Auditorium upper lobby area during the following times: Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bracelets will not be available for purchase at Walnut Park, per the release.
Only cash or credit can be used to purchase the bracelets, and guests must present a valid guest ticket and government ID. Attendees must have their bracelet on to enter the designated beverage area and will not be allowed in once they’ve used all three tabs.
