Second Theta Tau video shows mimed sexual assault of person with disabilities

Theta Tau is located at 1105 Harrison St. The fraternity was suspended by Syracuse University on Wednesday morning.
The Daily Orange has published a video showing people in Theta Tau’s house miming the sexual assault of a person with disabilities.
In the recording, which was obtained by The D.O., a person sits in a rolling chair as three other people block him from view and appear to mimic a scene where they force him to perform oral sex.
“He’s drooling out of his mouth, because he’s retarded in a wheelchair,” one person says. “So the hole is already very lubricated.”
SU’s Theta Tau chapter, which was permanently expelled by the university on Saturday, was originally suspended on Wednesday after SU confirmed it was involved in the circulation of online videos showing fraternity members engaging in behaviors Chancellor Kent Syverud in an email called, “extremely racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, sexist, and hostile to people with disabilities.”
Theta Tau posted a statement to its website apologizing for the video, calling it a “satirical sketch.” It’s unclear whether the statement was uploaded late Thursday night or early Friday morning.
During a separate recording of one of the Theta Tau videos, which was published by The D.O. on Wednesday night, a person forces another person to his knees and asks him to repeat an “oath” including racial slurs.
“I solemnly swear to always have hatred in my heart for n*ggers, sp*cs and most importantly the f*ckin’ k*kes,” the person on his knees says.
In Theta Tau’s statement, the organization said the video depicted a performance of an “uneducated, racist, homophobic, misogynist, sexist, ableist and intolerant person.”
In the video of people depicting the sexual assault of a person with disabilities, people laugh as someone says the person in the rolling chair is “brain-dead from being chronically whipped.”
“Yankee is totally unaware of this light rape that’s occurring,” one person says.
Near the end of the recording, one person tries to straddle the person in the chair. But the person jumps out of the chair yelling, “What the f*ck is that thing? What the f*ck you’re uncircumcised, you f*ck.”
