Syracuse University on Monday announced the names of two new Counseling Center staff therapists it has hired as part of an expansion of mental health services.

Monday’s announcement comes just three days after SU named the center’s new assistant director/training director.

Karin DeLeon and Danielle Jones, the new staff therapists, will provide individual and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention and education outreach programming to students, according to an SU News releaseHeather Cosgrove will serve as the center’s new assistant director/training director, the university announced on Friday.

Jones, a graduate of the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, has worked as a therapist at Vera House, an anti-domestic and sexual violence advocacy organization. She has also worked as a counselor at Le Moyne College.

Cosgrove, the new assistant director/training director, will supervise graduate student trainees and behavioral health interns.
