11 Syracuse players earn All-ACC honors

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its 2018 All-ACC teams on Monday afternoon, which included 11 members of the Orange. Defensive back Andre Cisco, kicker Andre Szmyt and punter Sterling Hofrichter. Cisco is tied for the nation’s lead in interceptions (7), Szmyt ranks eighth in field goal percentage (.875) while Hofrichter had the highest punt average in the conference (43.3 yards).
No. 20 Syracuse (9-3, 6-2 ACC) finished with its best regular season record since 2001 and the Orange finished second in the final conference standings. Syracuse’s 11 nominees is six more than it had in 2017.
