The Orange struggled at times on Saturday but were able to pull away and beat Morehead State for their second-straight win.
Syracuse (2-0) won 84-70 over Morehead State (1-2) on Saturday in the Carrier Dome. But the visiting Eagles hung much tighter for the majority of the game. Syracuse pulled away in part thanks to Tyus Battle’s big second half. The Orange play next on Thursday against Connecticut in Madison Square Garden.
