Syracuse attack Bradley Voigt was named Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive player of the week following a six-goal performance in Syracuse’s bounceback win over Albany Saturday, the conference announced Monday afternoon. The senior excelled in his second game as the third member of SU’s starting attack line and scored on multiple doorstep chances.
The honor comes after the Orange (1-1) jumped three spots to No. 17 in the country earlier Monday.
Prior to Saturday, Voigt scored 19 goals in his Syracuse career, and his previous career-high output was two goals in a single game.
SU returns to action Sunday against No. 13 Army (2-0) in the Carrier Dome.
