No. 8-seed Syracuse (20-14, 10-8 Atlantic Coast) suffered a season-ending loss on Thursday against No. 9-seed Baylor (20-13, 10-8 Big 12). The Orange were without their senior point guard Frank Howard and fell victim to a Bears shooting barrage. Elijah Hughes dropped a career-high 28 points in the loss, and Oshae Brissett and Tyus Battle combined for 30 points together.
