GENEVA — No. 11 Syracuse (6-3, 1-2 Atlantic Coast) defeated No. 20 Hobart (8-2, 2-0 Northeast), 17-5, at Urick Stadium on Tuesday night. The Orange improved after three-straight weeks of trailing early in games. SU went on a 12-0 run starting in the second quarter and won the Kraus-Simmons Trophy for the 31st win. In the process, Syracuse head coach John Desko won his 250th game.
