Lewis is the ninth-best point guard and 35th best overall player in the class, according to the espnW 100. The Wallingford, Pennsylvania native joins a guard-heavy Syracuse roster that features Tiana Mangakahia, Gabrielle Cooper and Emily Engstler. Lewis’ commitment marks the second espnW 100 player head coach Quentin Hillsman and SU has landed from the Class of 2019 (Teisha Hyman).
Lewis had previously planned to play at Georgia Tech in November but decommitted after the Yellow Jackets fired head coach MaChelle Joseph on April 9. Lewis joined 2018-19 ACC Rookie of the Year Elizabeth Balogun and ACC All-Freshman forward Elizabeth Dixon in transferring from the program.
In high school, Lewis led Ursuline basketball to three Catholic Conference Championships and three DIAA Delaware State Championships from 2015-17. She was named the Delaware State Player of the Year in 2017.
