Oshae Brissett signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, per The Athletic Toronto.
Under an Exhibit 10 deal, Brissett has earned a guaranteed invite to the Raptors training camp in the fall and the opportunity to make the roster. An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary deal that could be converted directly into a two-way contract, where Brissett would split time between the NBA and the G League. Players on two-way deals can remain on an NBA roster for a maximum of 45 days, or they can be waived.
If waived, Brissett can sign with the G League affiliate for the Raptors, the Raptors 905. Brissett is eligible for up to a $50,000 bonus if he stays on the Raptors 905 roster for 60 days.
In his final NBA Summer League game for the Los Angeles Clippers, Brissett posted 18 points to cap a solid showing in Las Vegas. Now, the former Syracuse forward native will get the chance to play for his hometown team.
