Syracuse pitcher Lindsey Hendrix and outfielder Madelyn Lopez have been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Third Team, the conference announced Wednesday.

Hendrix led all Syracuse pitchers this season with a 2.25 ERA, 72 strikeouts and 102.2 innings pitched. She was named the ACC’s Pitcher of the Week back-to-back weeks and became the first pitcher in program history to win four games against top-15 opponents. Hendrix finished the 2024 season with a career-best 13-3 record in the circle, and is the fourth SU pitcher to earn All-ACC honors.

Lopez finished 2024 with Syracuse’s second-highest batting average (.314). Lopez recorded 38 hits, 21 runs and 23 RBIs while being struck out on just 10 at-bats in 43 games played this season. She is just the third-ever SU outfielder to earn All-ACC honors.

This was the seventh time Syracuse has had one player earn all-conference honors since joining the ACC and in six of those seasons, the Orange had multiple honorees.
