This summer Syracuse University is constructing a promenade on University Place in addition to other projects.

Five information sessions will be held over the coming months to update the Syracuse University community on construction projects happening on campus this summer, the university announced Thursday.

Sessions will be held June 15, June 29, July 13, July 27 and Aug. 10, according to an SU News release. Each of the sessions will be held in Lyman Auditorium at 9:30 a.m. Officials from the Office of Campus Planning, Design and Construction will lead the sessions.

Projects already underway this summer include the construction of a promenade along University Place, renovations to multiple dorms and construction on the Quad aimed to “create a more functional events space on the Quad,” according to that project’s webpage.

In total, more than 120 construction projects will be taking place over the summer in buildings and areas across campus — including at the Schine Student Center, Manley Field House and South Campus. Further details on each of the projects can be found here.
