Syracuse lost to South Florida, 45-20.
Syracuse (1-2, 0-1 Atlantic Coast) built up a 17-point lead in the first quarter, but couldn’t hold on. South Florida (3-0) outscored the Orange, 45-3, to finish out the game — including scoring 28 points in the 2nd quarter.
