Roberson, a 6-foot-8, 226-pound power forward, averaged 5.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in his 20.4 minutes per game last season. Though he played in every game, he held a diminished role from the season prior when he was a key cog in an SU team that made its run to the Final Four in Houston.
Milwaukee plays in the Las Vegas portion of the NBA Summer League from July 7 to 17.
Roberson is the third SU player to find an NBA team in the last three days. The Denver Nuggets selected Tyler Lydon 24th overall in the NBA Draft on Thursday night and Andrew White went to Cleveland on Friday. Point guard John Gillon, who worked out with multiple NBA teams prior to the Draft, remains unsigned.
Three other former Roberson teammates, Malachi Richardson, Michael Gbinije and Chris McCullough, are expected to also play in Summer League.
