Brissett's double-double against Georgetown was his fifth of the season.

Syracuse freshman forward Oshae Brissett was named Atlantic Coast Conference rookie of the week, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Brissett had a 25-point, 14-rebound performance in Syracuse’s comeback win at Georgetown, the first player since Syracuse Carmelo Anthony with a line of at least 25 points and 14 rebounds in a single game, per Syracuse.com.

Brissett hit four three-pointers in the second half of the game versus the Hoyas, erasing a 13-point deficit and tying the game, where the Orange would go on to win.

The Georgetown game marked his second straight 20+ point performance as the 25-point output comes the game after Brissett recorded a then-career-high 20 points against Colgate.
