Syracuse’s Justyn Knight, Noah Affolder win at Bison Invitational

Justyn Knight, pictured during the indoor season, took home a win in his first outdoor meet of the season at Bucknell.

It only took one meet for Justyn Knight to record his first outdoor win of the season. It came at the Bison Invitational at Bucknell in the 1500-meters with a time of 3:42.71. He was followed by teammates Aidan Tooker (3:43.84), who took second, and Philo Germano (3:45.31), who placed third.

The only other winner on the day for the Orange was Noah Affolder, who dominated the 3000-meter steeplechase, finishing six full seconds in front of second place with a time of 8:51.44.

In the women’s 1500-meters, Syracuse’s top finisher was Rachel Bonner, who finished 25th with a time of 4:32.64.

Next on the schedule for the Orange is both the Virginia Challenge at the University of Virginia and the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton University, which will both start on April 20.
