For the first time this season, Syracuse (12-9, 5-7 Atlantic Coast) has two ranked doubles pairings.

In the latest ITA rankings released on Tuesday, Sofya Golubovskaya and Sonya Treshcheva jumped back into the rankings at No. 90, while Gabriela Knutson and Miranda Ramirez moved up to No. 56. Last week, Knutson and Ramirez were No. 90.

As a team, Syracuse dropped from No. 30 to No. 31, the second week in a row it fell in the rankings. After it peaked at No. 10 on Jan. 30, SU hasn’t cracked the top-10. Knutson moved up one slot to No. 19 in singles, while Ramirez dropped to No. 100, 18 spots lower than her previous ranking.

Golubovskaya and Treshcheva started the spring season ranked No. 24, but dropped out when the first rankings were released. They began 2-1 with three unfinished matches and have gone 6-3 overall this season. Syracuse’s No. 2 pairing was 2-1 the last two weekends, with one unfinished matches.

Knutson lost to Miami’s No. 2 Estela Perez-Somarriba 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (9-7) last weekend. She and Ramirez won their doubles match against the Hurricanes for the pairing’s first win in six matches.

After honoring their four seniors and their 437 career wins last Sunday, the Orange close out their regular season with road matches against Duke and Clemson. SU starts with the No. 4 Blue Devils (18-2, 10-1) on Friday at 6 p.m.
