Syracuse women’s lacrosse has landed Nina Autry as a part of its 2025 recruiting class, syracuse.com reported Thursday. She is the daughter of Syracuse men’s basketball coach Adrian Autry, who is entering his first season at the helm.

Autry, a junior at Jamesville-DeWitt high school, is listed as a midfielder and defender. Last season, she scored one goal, picked up seven ground balls, forced three turnovers and won two draw controls. She helped the Red Rams go to the New York State Section 3 Class C Championship game in 2023, where they ultimately lost 9-8 to Indian River. During club season, Autry plays for Orange Crush Lacrosse.

She also runs indoor track and plays junior varsity soccer for Jamesville-DeWitt. In 2023, Autry earned first place for the triple jump three separate times. She also placed second in the long jump twice in her sophomore campaign.
