Latine Heritage Month Opening Ceremony
Celebrate the beginning of Latine Heritage Month with cultural performances and meet members of registered student organizations. Throughout the month, explore the Latine community’s rich traditions through RSO-hosted activities and events featuring Latine music, food and sports. All Latine Heritage Month events are listed here.
When: Monday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival
Join the Department of Language, Literatures, and Linguistics and the East Asia Program to celebrate the fall season. The Mid-Autumn Festival gives thanks for the year’s harvest. Highlights of the festival include vegetarian mooncakes and a game of “Telephone.”
When: Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m.

Syracuse Abroad on the Quad
Interested in studying abroad? Head to the Syracuse Abroad tent on the Shaw Quadrangle to explore study abroad opportunities. Program advisors, alumni and partners will attend to discuss domestic and international Syracuse University centers. In the advent of rain, the event will be moved to Goldstein Auditorium in Schine Student Center.
When: Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dessert Crawl
In need of a mid-week sweet treat? Look no further than this week’s dessert crawl, featuring locally-made baked goods at Schine Student Center this Wednesday. Vendors including The Mixing Bowl, Honeycomb Bakery and The Sweet Praxis will be there to fulfill your sugary desires. This event is free for all current students.
When: Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Orange After Dark: Latine Heritage Month Paint Night
Wind down the week with some guided painting and dancing. Learn to dance salsa, merengue, bachata and paint with Right Mind Syracuse. You must RSVP on ‘Cuse Activities and have a valid SUID to attend this event.
When: Thursday from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.
