Syracuse, Clemson to play at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday

The Syracuse-Clemson game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Sunday. The game, SU’s ACC debut, will be televised regionally on ABC and to the rest of the nation on ESPN2.

No. 3 Clemson annihilated Wake Forest 56-7 on Saturday and is 4-0 on the season. Syracuse is coming off of a bye week and sits at 2-2 after losing to Penn State and Northwestern and blowing out Wagner and Tulane.

ESPN exercised a six-day option last Monday to announce its national game times for this weekend. On Sunday, the ACC also announced that Maryland-Florida State will start at noon and be nationally televised on ESPN, and Georgia Tech-Miami (Fla.) will be nationally televised on ESPNU at 3:30 p.m.
