Syracuse University Athletics announced today that 35,446 fans are expected to attend the basketball game against Duke on Saturday night, which would set a new on-campus attendance record.

The capacity crowd will surpass the current record of 35,012 held by SU. That record was set last season when the Orange hosted Georgetown University on Feb. 23.

According to the SU Athletics release, fans are encouraged to arrive early.

Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and SU alumna Vanessa Williams will perform the national anthem before tip off.

Festivities in the Dome will begin that morning when College GameDay broadcasts live from center court at 11 a.m. on ESPN.
