Carry me back to old Virginia
The Orange pulls out what is being hyped as the Cavaliers’ biggest home game in two decades. After losing its efficiency in the final five minutes of games as of late, SU regains its rhythm in what will inevitably be a super-slow, down-to-the-wire game. Look for C.J. Fair to be at his best, like he has been in most big games this season, and Tyler Ennis to continue his aggressive offensive play.

Cavalier Attitude
It should be a defensive struggle, but the No. 4 Orange simply has more weapons. UVA plays great team defense, but doesn’t have the personnel to match up with Fair, Ennis and Jerami Grant. As long as Rakeem Christmas can defend the high post effectively, then No. 12 Virginia could struggle to score against the zone.

Another one bites the dust
Syracuse wins yet another close game, eking out a win over Virginia in the final minutes. Expect Grant to use his athleticism to exploit the Cavaliers inside. If he’s cooking, the Orange is that much more difficult to contain. This game proves that Virginia is legit and is capable of making a deep NCAA Tournament run, and that Syracuse is just a bit better when the game is on the line.
