More than a year after the launch of a new Spanish Education major at Syracuse University, less than five students have enrolled in the program. The major allows students to obtain an undergraduate degree in Spanish and a teacher’s certification to teach the language in New York State at the secondary level in grades 7-12. Read more »

The Master of Science program will operate on a schedule that is different from most courses. The shortened online course schedule will be implemented in three month interims instead of the standard 15-week semester, which will allow students to finish within two years.
